Patrick Connolly, of Sandwich, was arrested at 560 Boylston St. after police "observed him throw an unopened can of beer at one of the Duck Boats, striking an adult male party on board," according to a statement on the Boston Police website.
The beer struck Cora but he was not injured.
Connolly will be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct, according to police.
In a separate incident, one of the World Series trophies was damaged by a beer thrown by a fan. But the damage is said to be repairable.
