Mike Francesa made his return to WFAN at 3 p.m. on Tuesday after a nice four-month retirement.

He took his seat in the power chair in the Mike Francesa Studio and began by making a short reference to the fact that he's back after putting everyone through a whole retirement tour and then quickly moved into talking Yankees-Astros.

— WFAN Sports Radio (@WFAN660) May 1, 2018He did get into the circumstances surrounding his return a little bit later in the first hour and explained he is developing an app in conjunction with the show and now has an Instagram account and Facebook page for Mike's On.
"I didn't really feel like I had to come back," he said. "I wanted to come back."

— Brian Monzo (@BMonzoRadio) May 1, 2018Hours before the show, Francesa met with Chris Carlin, Maggie Gray and Bart Scott, the hosts of CMB, who replaced him when he retired and will now serve as his lead-in from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
"I met with them," Francesa said. "We are all on the same page."
However, Gray addressed the meeting on the show Tuesday and said CMB is now "give zero F's radio."
Carlin reiterated they are all on the same page.
It feels weird that Francesa is back after that 85-guest goodbye show last year but it sure is one hell of a power move.
