Major League Baseball is expected to suspend spring training in response to the coronavirus pandemic, it was reported on Thursday.

The #MLB owners have a conference call with Commissioner Rob Manfred scheduled to determine the rest of spring training and the start of the season.

The league will also possibly announce a delay to the start of the 2020 season. 

The move would come after the NBA and MLS suspended their seasons due to the coronavirus. The NHL is also reportedly expected to suspend its season on Thursday.
