— Lindsey Adler (@lindseyadler) January 21, 2018"how the heck are the Jags supposed to win if the Pats are playing zombies," someone tweeted.
WCVB deleted the tweet and eventually and tweeted the following apology just before 9:30 p.m. in response to one of the people who realized the mistake:
"A news service that provides WCVB some digital content accidentally posted a pic of Aaron Hernandez in connection w/Pats AFC champ win on our social media. It's embarrassing & unacceptable. We apologize & are working w/team to correct so something like this never happens again."

— Barstool Sports (@barstoolsports) January 22, 2018QUOTE OF THE DAY: "It was pretty stressful. I was stressed out. You drive home and you have all these stitches in this place. You're driving home and I saw my wife and she said, 'What happened?!' and I said, 'I know, it was just an accident in practice.' She said, 'What is going to happen?' I said, 'I don't know. We'll see how it goes.'" -- Tom Brady, with K&C, on the injury to his right hand
