Actually, she wasn’t demoted, she was essentially fired.
She later deleted the tweet.

-- Justify won the 144th Kentucky Derby on Sunday and a woman from Texas benefited greatly from the victory.
Margaret Reid of Austin made an $18 bet on a series of races that day and won a whopping $1.2 million. She picked her first four race winner correctly and picked Justify to win the Derby.
“It was a big ticket because it was a couple of long shots in the middle of it," Reid said.
Her win was almost the same as Justify’s $1.24 million prize.
“It’s extremely rare,” Retama Park spokeswoman Rachel Bagnetto said. “To bet that little amount of money and win $1.2 million is unheard of. In fact, it’s the first time it’s happened at Retama.”
