AROUND THE WEB:
-- Marcus Stroman is not a fan of Dennis Eckersley.
The beef started when Stroman struck out Eduardo Nunez to end the sixth inning against the Red Sox on Sunday and Stroman celebrated on his way into the dugout.

— Toronto Blue Jays (@BlueJays) June 23, 2019Eckersley called out Stroman's celebration theatrics, calling the act "tired."
And Stroman did not appreciate Eckersley's comment when he found out about it after the game and he responded on social media.
His comments are always trash. ----♂️
— Marcus Stroman (@MStrooo6) June 23, 2019"His comments are always trash," Stroman tweeted.
He then followed up by calling Eckersley a "clown" and a "hypocrite" along with a video of Eckersley celebrating as a A's reliever.

— Cut4 (@Cut4) June 21, 2019The life-long dream of the show's character Mac, played by Rob McElhenney, was to "have a catch" with Chase Utley.
Mac wrote Ultey this letter in the show: "Dear Chase, I feel like I can call you Chase because you and me are so alike. I'd like to meet you one day, it would be great to have a catch. I know I can't throw as fast as you but I think you'd be impressed with my speed. I love your hair, you run fast. Did you have a good relationship with your father? Me neither. These are all things we can talk about and more. I know you have no been getting my letters because I know you would write back if you did. I hope you write back this time, and we can become good friends. I am sure our relationship would be a real home run!"

QUOTE OF THE DAY: "Kyrie Irving didn't like Boston. I've been told this by many people. He didn't like living in Boston. He just didn't. By the end, he had issues with Brad (Stevens). By the end, he had issues with Danny (Ainge). By the end, he had issues with pretty much all of us." -- Jackie MacMullan, on Kyrie Irving's relationship with Boston and the Celtics
