-- What began as the Year of Jimmy Garoppolo is ending on not such a great note for the 49ers quarterback.
First there was his season-ending injury and now his bad tipping his coming back to haunt him.
A waitress who once served the former Patriot is so bitter about it she printed out the receipts, put them on a poster and brought them to the Packers-49ers game on Oct. 15 to show the world how awful Garoppolo is at tipping.
She shared the photos on her Instagram, which is now private.

To add further insult, Playboy model Kindly Myers backed up Reichert’s statement about the tipping.“I was his bartender once and he didn’t tip then either,” she commented about Garoppolo.
Based on the receipts, Garoppolo only tips between about 4 and 10 percent of his bill.
Very bad look, especially for the highest-paid quarterback in the league.
-- Redskins quarterback Alex Smith left Sunday’s game against the Texans after breaking both the fibula and tibia in his right leg.
Smith was taken off the field in the third quarter and underwent surgery at a nearby hospital.
Theismann said he texted Smith his support.
“I saw a pile of people go down, and then I saw Alex’s leg in the position it was in. And I turned away after that. It brought back vivid memories,” he said. “ … My immediate thought was that my heart went out to him. I feel so bad for him. I know the road ahead. We’re somewhat similar in age (when the injuries happened). He’s not 25 or 26 years of age. I was 35; he’s 34. How long will it take to come back? What is the severity? I worry less about Alex and his football career than I do Alex and wanting to be able to do the things in life he wants to do.”
Theismann was in attendance at the Redskins game on Sunday.
