NBC tries new ‘Green Zone’ for Sunday Night Football, it doesn’t go great

-- NBC unveiled its new “Green Zone” graphic for Sunday Night Football and people are not happy about it.

“We know the yellow line is great, it has been around for years,” Al Michaels said of the green zone during the game. “But this will show you exactly how far he has to go at any point in the play.”

The green zone is meant to show “how far players will have to go at any point during the play to get a first down,” but viewers didn’t seem thrilled with the innovation.
