A 2006 interview with O.J. Simpson has surfaced ahead of the special on Fox about Simpson and the murder of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman.

In a new trailer for the special, O.J. Simpson: The Lost Confession?, shows what is said to be never-before-seen footage of Simpson giving an interview about the book If I Did It and speaking in hypothetical terms about the murders.

He begins in hypothetical before shifting to first person.

"This is hypothetical," he continued. "I remember I grabbed the knife, I do remember that portion."

Simpson said the killer's friend, "Charlie," mentioned something was going on at Brown Simpson's house and the killer wouldn't believe it.

"It's gotta stop," Simpson said hypothetically about why the murderer went to the home that night.

The killer, he said, drove to the house, saw candles in the window and started screaming when Goldman appeared. Brown Simpson came to the door and the killer blacked out. When he came to he was covered in blood.

"It's gotta stop," Simpson said hypothetically about why the murderer went to the home that night.

The special airs Sunday at 8 p.m.
