THURSDAY'S BROADCAST HIGHLIGHTS:NHL: NY Islanders at Boston, 7 p.m. (NESN)

AROUND THE WEB:

-- Antonio Brown is full of bold claims but he made one on Wednesday that was tough not to correct.

Brown tweeted a picture of his draft card and proclaimed himself the best sixth-round draft pick of all time.

"NFL respect my greatness best 6 rounder all time!," Brown tweeted.

And the rest of Twitter quickly corrected him because Tom Brady was also taken in the sixth round in 2000.

-- Kevin Garnett and Mike Francesa have starring roles in Adam Sandler's upcoming film, Uncut Gems, and it turns out Rajon Rondo was supposed to play a role in it as well.

Rondo said he lost his first big role because he simply missed a flight.

Rajon Rondo said he had been cast for a cameo with Kevin Garnett in Uncut Gems but missed his 6 a.m. flight to filming. "First big role, too," he said. "I missed the flight and I was like, 'Shit, I don't want to take a private (jet), about $95,000.' ... Fucked up my debut."

"I missed the flight and I was like, 'Sh-t, I don't want to take a private (jet), about $95,000' ... F--ked up my debut," Rondo said.

As a result, Garnett is the only former Celtic to represent the team in the movie, which will be released on Christmas Day.

QUOTE OF THE DAY: "It's a huge honor, man. I definitely was not planning on that this year. I definitely have, obviously, bigger goals ahead, but I appreciate my teammates, all the fans, everybody that voted, colleagues and all that good stuff. But hopefully, we've got bigger fish to fry." -- Dont'a Hightower, on being named to this year's Pro Bowl
