-- The Red Sox got into the Fourth of July spirit on Wednesday and wore star-spangled outfits to board the team plane to Kansas City.
There were some great outfits, like Brock Holt’s American flag romper, but Chris Sale’s was the winner.

July 5, 2018 -- Joey “Jaws" Chestnut has done it again.
Chestnut took home the Mustard Belt for an 11th time on Wednesday as the 2018 winner of Nathan's Famous hot dog eating contest.
He broke the world record this year with 74 hot dogs in 10 minutes. There was slight controversy over how many hot dogs Chestnut ate when the judges didn’t realize the competitors were eating off of two plates.
Eric Gonzalez, the Brooklyn district attorney, finally certified Chestnut's record of 74.

QUOTE OF THE DAY: "I'm proud of them, they show up every day, they prepare, they go about their business the right way. They enjoy winning and they don't get caught up in whatever's going on around us. They're focused on the task at hand. We know where we're at but we still have a long ways to go." --
