-- Former Ohio State coach Zach Smith is no longer staying silent.
Smith unleashed a storm of tweets on Wednesday regarding the domestic violence allegations levied against him by his ex-wife, Courtney Smith.
Smith was fired from his position as Urban Meyer’s assistant football coach at Ohio State in July after the allegations came to light. Meyer is currently serving a three-game suspension for his mishandling of the situation.
-- In an attempt to recover from struggling attendance numbers, the Marlins have invited fans to bring their own musical instruments, bells, whistles and flags to a designated section of Marlins Park next season.
The section will be called Comunidad 305, which is Miami's area code and the Spanish word for "community."
According to the Marlins’ website, the point is to celebrate Southern Florida’s cultural diversity and to "get loud.”
The team is also lowering ticket prices, increasing member benefits and adding new concessions.
