-- The mystery of the Lombardi Trophy dent has been solved.
It was, of course, Rob Gronkowski who caused the crater in one of the Patriots’ Super Bowl trophies while he and other members of the team were at Fenway Park for the Red Sox home opener last week.
Gronkowski's teammates explained what happened in an oral history of the incident shared by the Patriots on Wednesday.

April 17, 2019 When Julian Edelman was throwing warm-up pitches before throwing one of the ceremonial first pitches, Gronkowski squared up to bunt with the trophy as the bat.
And the baseball won.

-- The Maple Leafs lost to the Bruins in Game 3 on Wednesday night and fans are blaming Drake.
The Drake Curse, as it is known, struck his hometown Toronto team when he showed up at the game and brought the Leafs bad luck.
