-- Jeopardy! took a shot at the Seahawks on Tuesday with a clue about the team’s Super Bowl XLIX loss to the Patriots.
The clue read, “If this team had just handed it to Marshawn Lynch instead of calling a pass from the one in Super Bowl 49…”
-- ESPN released a list on Wednesday of the greatest “one-hit wonder” for each team in NFL history and Jonas Gray got the honor for the Patriots.
On Nov. 16, 2014, Gray had one of the best single-game performances for a running back in team history when he rushed for 201 yards and scored a franchise-record four touchdowns in the Patriots’ 42-20 win over the Colts.
A few days later, Gray showed up late to the practice facility and never earned a starting position with the Patriots again.
He was released from the team in September 2015.
