AROUND THE WEB:

-- Malcolm Jenkins explained the posters he held up in the locker room after Eagles practice on Wednesday, saying he wanted to change the way his message is getting across.

"I'm tired of the narrative being about the anthem, about the White House or whatever," Jenkins told ESPN.

Jenkins also talked about the causes he has tried to focus on and said these messages have been mixed up in the discussion about Trump and the national anthem. His causes include the criminal justice system, mass incarceration, police brutality and children of color's access to education and economic advancement.

"That message can't continue to be ignored," Jenkins said. "And that's what I think has been happening up until this point. So we just have to continue to stay on topic and continue to push the issues -- and not this narrative of who's right and who's wrong, but what are the reasons why players are even so passionate about this."

Jenkins also said the idea of a sit-down meeting with Donald Trump and Eagles players was discussed but never happened after Trump disinvited the team from the White House.

"An opportunity, I think, was floated around as an idea," Jenkins said of a sit-down meeting with the president. "But a lot of that back-and-forth with the White House was not -- we as a team weren't necessarily privy to that information; that was kinda going between team executives and the White House. And so as players, I think it was left up to each individual what they wanted to do; they were gonna have some options. But then ultimately, the decision was to only send a few guys, and then obviously it got cancelled after that."

Jenkins silently held up a series of signs for reporters in the locker room on Wednesday addressing a number of issues.

-- The Cavaliers dropped another game to the Warriors on Wednesday night and LeBron James proved he really can do everything himself.

James alley-ooped to himself in the first quarter of Game 3 to the astonishment of pretty much everyone watching.

NBA referees confirmed on Twitter the play is, in fact, legal.

"On that self alley-oop: once the ball hits the backboard, rim or another  player, the offensive player is allowed to regain possession. It's a legal play. #RefWatchParty," NBA Referees tweeted.

The Cavaliers fell 110-102 in Game 3 and are now down 0-3 in the series.

QUOTE OF THE DAY: " … We haven't played a game this year and there aren't any scheduled for a while. So, I don't know what we have this year. We'll see. We'll see how we perform. I have no idea. We have a long way to go." -- Bill Belichick, when asked if there is a part of the team that needs improvement
