Gronkowski also said he feels “super, super pliable” and that pliability “is a difference-maker.”
“Been grinding, going to keep grinding,” he continued. “Been working hard and I’m excited for the 2018 season … Let’s go. Let’s do this.”
He also said he is going to the Bahamas this weekend to film Shark Week, which will air at the end of the summer.
-- Mike Francesa rival Michael Kay responded on Wednesday to the news Francesa will be returning to the air and made it clear he is ready to go up against the Sports Pope once again.
“Bring it on,” Kay told the NY Post. “Let’s go. Let’s do it. Let’s see who wins now. If he wins, he wins. If he loses, it really does affect his legacy. He has never lost before with Dog (Chris Russo). He has never lost to anybody (in sports). I wonder if he is going to regret it if he comes back and loses.”
Kay’s show on ESPN New York’s 98.7 beat the current WFAN afternoon show in the winter book.
“If we can beat him, I don’t think it affects his legacy, but it puts a black mark on it,” Kay said. “ … One of the thing he hangs his hat (on) is that he never loses. And those sycophants who follow him, they lap it up, hook, line and sinker even though he lost in his last book. He lost to Lite-FM. He has lost before.”
