“Spoiler alert... we were friends this whole time. Always great to see you Peyton!,” Brady captioned the selfie.

And the reactions were mixed.

“If you two had just a little more drive and ambition, it’s crazy to think what you could’ve become,” The Rock commented on Instagram.

“Well this changes everything,” Kevin Hart added.

Tom, I say this as respectfully as I can, but as a youth football coaching legend, it makes me physically ill to see you consorting with an opponent. I teach my players to fight opposing players at school. How am I supposed to explain this shameful behavior to them?

-- Longtime ESPN anchor Bob Ley announced on Wednesday he is retiring after 40 years with the network.

Too many folks to thank individually, right now, but know that I have you all in my mind and my heart. Some news to share: pic.twitter.com/Qydhpcy4MV

— Bob Ley (@BobLeyESPN) June 26, 2019

Ley is ESPN’s longest-tenured anchor, having debuted just three days after the network launched in 1979.

“To be clear, this is entirely my decision. I enjoy the best of health, and the many blessings of friends and family, and it is in that context that I’m making this change,” he said in his statement.

Ley is an 11-time Sports Emmy winner and was inducted into the National Sports Media Association Hall of Fame earlier this week.

QUOTE OF THE DAY: "(It stings) lot. I didn't do my job. Offense did a phenomenal job of coming back and scoring three in the eighth, and then to give it up like that is tough." -- Matt Barnes, on his blown save
