Brees broke Peyton Manning's record of 71,940 career passing yards with a 62-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter of the Saints' 43-19 win over the Redskins.
"Drew, for a thousand days I've held the record for all-time passing yards in the NFL. And I've got to tell you it's been the greatest thousand days of my life. And thanks to you, that's over now and you've ruined that for me," Manning said in the satirical video. "So, thank you very much. I have nothing left to look forward to except slicing my tomatoes, making dinner for my family and putting together this wedge salad."
Manning also pre-congratulated Brees for breaking his touchdown record because "as you can see I'm very busy."
He did end the video with a sincere congratulations.
"In true Peyton fashion," Brees said of the video. "He always is very creative."
Tom Brady also congratulated the 39-year-old on breaking the record with a post to his Instagram story.
