AROUND THE WEB:

-- Dennis Rodman got the credit he deserved on CNN Monday night as Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un made history by meeting to discuss the issues between the United States and North Korea.

Rodman is a close friend of Kim Jong Un and became emotional during an interview on the network from Singapore where the meeting took place. He wore a Trump “Make America Great Again” hat and started crying while talking about the meeting he helped orchestrate.

"It's a great day. I am here to see it. I'm so happy," the former NBA star said.

"I'm not in this for no money. I never started it for no money,” he said while wearing a PotCoin shirt. “This is not about Dennis Rodman being the greatest person in the world, bringing the countries together.”

”I want to see us get along. Have a handshake, have a smile, have a glass of iced tea. I don't need to worry about the war stuff, I don't know anything about that," he said.

"Everything else should be in Donald Trump's hands and people in the White House's hands. I'm out of it,” he continued. “I'm so happy just to be here, man, and see everyone in the world get emotional like I did. Donald Trump should take a lot of credit because he went out of the box and made this happen."

He also said the North Korean leader loves basketball and Rodman wants to work to bring basketball to the reclusive country.

“My purpose is to go over there and try to see if I can keep bringing sports to North Korea,” he said. " … I think people understand that Kim Jong Un is not a dumb man. He's trying to protect his people, his honor, and everything that has to do with his country."

"Let's just hope for the best,” he said. “We don't need a miracle, we just need the doors to be open so we can start fresh and make this place a better world, baby, that's it."

Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper told Chris Cuomo on CNN he thinks Rodman played an important role in this meeting.

“You saw Dennis Rodman as relevant?” Cuomo asked Clapper, to which Clapper (again, Former Director of National Intelligence) confidently said, “I did.”

-- Mike Francesa is Numbah One once again.

Francesa’s return to WFAN topped ratings for the month of May with a 6.8 percent market rating share with the 25-54 male audience from April 26 to May 23.

Francesa’s longtime rival "The Michael Kay Show" on ESPN Radio New York, came in fourth with a 5.5 rating.

“Thanks to the most loyal listeners anywhere!,” Francesa tweeted after the ratings were released.

Before leaving WFAN in the fall, Francesa beat Kay 6.6 to 5.0.

When Francesa announced his return, Kay said he looked forward to once again having the chance to beat him in the ratings.

"I look forward to it. We came very close to beating him in the fall book. It was during his goodbye tour,” Kay said. “He had all the attention on him from all the world. People were genuflecting toward him. He finished second — and we finished tied for third. So we all always felt that if he'd stayed around, we would have beaten him. That would mean a great deal to us. Now we get another opportunity. We're excited about it. Let's go. Let's do it."

Looks like he’s going to have to try again next time.
