-- The Eagles responded on Monday night to Donald Trump disinviting the team to the White House, saying the organization is looking forward to preparing for the 2018 season.
"Watching the entire Eagles community come together has been an inspiration," the team statement read. "We are truly grateful for all of the support we have received and we are looking forward to continuing our preparations for the 2018 season,” the team tweeted.

June 4, 2018 -- Johnny Damon is excited about the reignited Red Sox-Yankees rivalry but he made it clear he’s not rooting for Boston.
Damon, who played for both teams and was a Red Sox hero after helping the team win the World Series in 2004, has had a rocky relationship with the Red Sox since 2005 and it seems like it’s still a little icy.
"They're bringing back the rivalry that we had in the early 2000s and it's going to be a fun year," Damon told TMZ. "I'll be rooting for New York."
During his appearance on the Celebrity Apprentice with Donald Trump in 2015, Damon said he and John Henry were not on speaking terms after contract drama in 2005.
Henry then responded by saying Damon is “always welcome at Fenway” and Damon responded to that by saying there are “no hard feelings.”
Yet he’s still rooting for the Yankees and still has a mohawk.
