-- Kareem Hunt is a free agent after he was waived by the Chiefs on Friday following the release of a video showing him shoving and kicking a woman and now it seems he was involved in another assault incident.
Hunt was named as a suspect in a police report obtained by TMZ from an incident at Mosaic, a nightclub in Kansas City, in the early hours of January 7.
The accuser told police he was beaten by ex-NFLer George Atkinson, Hunt and other men. The man said he was defending a friend who had been shoved by Atkinson. He said he was treated at North Kansas City Hospital for a broken nose, a broken rib and contusions.
It seems the accuser then stopped cooperating with police and neither Hunt nor Atkinson was arrested or charged.
TMZ also got hold of a video showing Hunt being restrained following the Kansas City incident.
Hunt was placed on the Commissioner’s Exempt List after the video of him beating up the woman was released last week. He took responsibility for the incident in an interview with ESPN over the weekend.
-- The Steelers lost to the Chargers 33-30 on Sunday and a couple of Pittsburgh fans really did not take it well.
The Steelers fan then went after the male Chargers fan and “was beating on him.” The female Chargers fan then got in between them and that is when the choking occurred.
“I was taking pictures and I didn’t notice what happened at the time,” Lipton said. “Security didn’t come for awhile, but finally, a few people restrained the big guy.”
Pittsburgh Police spokesperson Chris Togneri said he received an update on Monday morning that “there was nothing unusual. A typical game night with ‘multiple skirmishes’ to include verbal and minor shoving.'”
Typical night of choking and headbutting for Steelers fans.
