-- A Rhode Island artist inspired by A Christmas Carol created an incredible bronze Bill Belichick door knocker ahead of Super Bowl LII.
Palmer Murphy said he was watching the movie based on the Charles Dickens story and realized Belichick resembles Jacob Marley's door knocker.

— WBZ Boston Sports (@wbzsports) January 25, 2018The knocker is Belichick's face surrounded by his iconic hoodie and the knocker is the coach's headset.
"He flipped it down and I thought 'Hey that could be a door knocker,'" Murphy said of the headset.
Murphy created two door knockers, one of which was sent to the Patriots at Gillette Stadium. However, he's not sure Belichick has seen it.
"They'd probably be afraid to show it to him," Murphy said.
The other creation will be sold online with 10 percent of the proceeds going to the Wounded Warrior Foundation.
"He's got to be a big Patriots fan if he's got a Bill Belichick door knocker," Patriot David Andrews said when asked about Murphy's creation.
I hope he makes more because I would absolutely buy one of these.
-- The Cleveland Indians announced Monday the team will remove the Chief Wahoo logo from uniforms in 2019.
The controversial logo will disappear from caps and jersey sleeves and the mascot will no longer appear on the field. The team will continue to wear it in 2018 and will still sell merchandise featuring the image in Northeast Ohio.
The logo has been on uniforms in many different forms since 1947.
"Major League Baseball is committed to building a culture of diversity and inclusion throughout the game," MLB commissioner Rob Manfred said in a statement. "Over the past year, we encouraged dialogue with the Indians organization about the club's use of the Chief Wahoo logo. During our constructive conversations, Paul Dolan made clear that there are fans who have a longstanding attachment to the logo and its place in the history of the team. Nonetheless, the club ultimately agreed with my position that the logo is no longer appropriate for on-field use in Major League Baseball, and I appreciate Mr. Dolan's acknowledgement that removing it from the on-field uniform by the start of the 2019 season is the right course."
Opposition to the logo has grown in recent years with many deeming it racist. The team has transitioned to a block "C" on some caps and have removed signs of Chief Wahoo around Progressive Field.
QUOTE OF THE DAY: "Thank you guys for your support all year. It's been an incredible journey. We have one more to go. It's going to be fun. … Patriot Nation is stronger than ever. We have one more to go. We love you. Patriots out." -- Tom Brady, at the Patriots' send-off rally at Gillette Stadium on Monday before traveling to Minnesota
