-- Tom Brady corrected himself on Instagram on Monday after leaving an awkward comment on Randy Moss' Instagram post paying tribute to a trainer who passed away.

A post shared by Randygmoss (@randygmoss) on Sep 2, 2018 at 1:44pm PDT

"On behalf of all the Purple People Eaters & true Viking fans worldwide........"thank u mr.fred zamberletti!"#skol#rip#oltimer," Moss captioned the photo.

To which Brady commented, "You look better in a pats uniform."

Brady then realized what the post was about and deleted the comment. He replaced it with, "Rip" and a prayer hands emoji.

Fred Zamberletti, the longtime Minnesota Vikings trainer, passed away on Sunday.

Kaepernick's new contract with Nike is reportedly a "wide endorsement" and the former 49ers quarterback, who is currently a free agent, will have his own branded line of shoes, shirts, jerseys and more.

Last week, Kaepernick filed for a trademark for the phrase "I'm with Kap" to print on merchandise.

QUOTE OF THE DAY: "Well, we looked at both players last year as part of the draft process, also saw them in preseason this year – well, Hanson in preseason this year – and they were available. So, we'll take a look at them, see how it goes." -- Bill Belichick, on new Patriots wide receivers Amara Darboh and Chad Hansen
