The Celtics destroyed the Cavaliers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals on Sunday, making LeBron James and Cavs red meat for Twitter.

The jokes started before halftime and continued streaming in well after the game.

The Celtics did some Twitter maneuvering of their own when the team's account deleted a tweet reading, "LeBron James has been on a tear during the postseason, but history suggests that Marcus Morris could help slow him down."

The tweet linked to a story on Celtics.com with the headline "History Suggests Morris Could Challenge LeBron in ECF."

Seems like the Celtics didn't want that tweet to give James any bulletin board material and it looks like the move worked.
