-- Former ESPN president John Skipper has found a new job after abruptly leaving the Worldwide Leader last year.

Skipper is joining Perform Group, a UK-based company that helps fans “engage with sports.”

“John is one of the most significant leaders in the history of our industry, and I am delighted that he has agreed to join me and the team to help take Perform to the next level of our ambitions,” Perform Group CEO Simon Denyer said in a press release.

“Simon and his team have built an enormously impressive company, providing an excellent base to establish a global leadership position in the over-the-top sports subscription business, the clear future of sports delivery,” Skipper said in his own statement.

Skipper announced in December he was leaving ESPN because he was struggling with substance addiction and then said he was being blackmailed by a cocaine dealer.

-- The Mets’ Matt Harvey saga has come to an end.

The pitcher was acquired by the Reds on Tuesday for catcher Devin Mesoraco during the series between the two teams.

"Just kind of surreal," Mesoraco said. "A whirlwind. A lot happened in 15 minutes."

Harvey had been a problem for the Mets, who designated the pitcher for assignment on Saturday.

He experienced a string a bad starts and relief appearances recently and his off-field issues didn’t make matters much better.

A Page Six report last month claimed Harvey was partying in Los Angeles the night before a bad outing.

Last year, it was reported Harvey was seen celebrating Cinco de Mayo until 4 a.m. and failed to show up at Citi Field hours later.
