-- Glen “Big Baby” Davis surrendered to police on Friday and was arrested for felony assault with intent to cause a great bodily injury.

The former Celtic was being investigated for a violent incident in which he almost hit a man with his car and then slammed him to the concrete after the man confronted Davis.

Davis was booked on Friday and released on $50,000 bail.

QUOTE OF THE DAY: “No, I don’t think [it's a distraction>. I am focused on myself, and my teammates, we’re all focused on getting better each day, and that is all we can do. I don’t think it’s a distraction in any way at all.” -- Brian Hoyer, on Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski not attending the Patriots’ first OTA session
