-- A former Patriots player and current Falcon also weighed in on Twitter about Sanu, saying he is in favor of the move.

Kenjon Barner is in his first season with the Falcons but knows the Patriots' culture and Sanu well enough to know this will work out well in New England.

"The @Patriots just got real one, a hell of a player but a even better person ! Gone fit right in with the culture, is exactly the type of player Bill is looking for, a hard worker, and a (expletive) dog! #MoOut"
