-- Tom Brady's jersey was stolen from his bag in the locker room after Super Bowl LI and security officials do not want that to happen again.
There are reportedly "special plans" in place to keep Brady's Super Bowl LII jersey protected from theft.
According to TMZ Sports, there will be "federal agencies, multiple state agencies and private security plus surveillance everywhere," along with "surveillance everywhere," to protect the jersey.
"One of the main goals is to keep people and property safe. We do not want a repeat of last year and we have learned lessons from other major sporting events," TMZ reports.
After last year's Super Bowl, Brady realized his jersey was missing and asked everyone around him if they'd seen it. A manhunt ensued and the jersey was found in March in the possession of Martin Mauricio Ortega, a Mexican media member who stole the jersey from the locker room. He was banned from NFL games for life.
