-- The baseball world has been coming out in droves to show support for David Ortiz after he was shot in the Dominican Republic on Sunday and Terry Francona is now speaking out.
Ortiz's former manager, and current Indians manager, spoke about Ortiz before the Indians game on Tuesday.
"He's a very special person, not just to me, to a lot of people," Francona said. "And I know he's in great hands. I actually spoke to the doctor today and he couldn't be in a better place or with better people."
