SUCKER BORN EVERY DAY
Falling for “breaking news” from a parody account on Twitter is a 21st-century rite of passage for everyone in sports media. But there may never have been such a false shockwave sent as when a fake SportsCenter account Thursday claimed the Jets signed Colin Kaepernick. The immediate uproar was so loud the report had to be debunked BY Twitter. Oh, but for a moment it was fun to imagine.

April 9, 2020 DON’T QUIT YOUR DAY JOB
FOX football analyst, and four-time Super Bowl champion, former Steelers QB Terry Bradshaw appeared on Pittsburgh radio Thursday to say he thought Ben Roethlisberger was better than himself in his prime (OK), and that Tom Brady isn’t the GOAT. Bradshaw added that maybe Dan Fouts was better than Brady. Who here is ready to have that conversation about Uncle Terry? Read all about it by clicking here.
MAYBE QUIT ONE OF YOUR DAY JOBS
Texans coach/GM Bill O’Brien has been under constant fire and social media scrutiny since his trade of DeAndre Hopkins for David Johnson. I guess Belichick’s former OC either craves the hot seat or wanted to distract us momentarily our lives by making another controversial trade; this time for Brandin Cooks. The nowformer Saint, Patriot and Ram will be on his fourth team in just seven years. Does he have bad breath? Strange to see such a talent be moved so often. But whenever Bill O’Brien can make a questionable trade, here comes Bill O’Brien to say, “Hold my beer.”
Texans acquire WR Brandin Cooks and a 2022 fourth-round pick from the Rams for the 57th pick in this month's draft.

April 9, 2020 THREAD COUNT
Rumors of the Patriots soon unveiling a new or altered jersey for the 2020 season made this latest version of the “You Can Only Pick 3” meme a little extra fun to play (I went 2/3/7, you?)
Let's try this. You can only pick 3. pic.twitter.com/92Zuiq4ijG

April 9, 2020 SPEAKING OF NEW JERSEYS
Speaking of new uniforms...“Good Morning Football” co-host Kyle Brandt received a special package in the mail Thursday, and even though we’re ride or die Pats for life it kinda had us all kinds of jealous.
Most fun I’ve had in weeks. Thank you to the @Buccaneers --☠️---- pic.twitter.com/jDRC7yezwz

Two things we’ll never tire of during this self-quarantine; adorable pets and funny play-by-play videos.

April 9, 2020 QUOTE OF THE DAY
"He throws the football better than anyone throws the football...Whoever gets him wins the draft because you are getting a Hall of Fame player.” - Former NFL QB and Super Bowl Champion Trent Dilfer to the Washington Post about Tua Tagovailoa, whom some believe the Patriots to be interested in.
