Happy Thursday and second to last day of spring. With Summer at our dorstep that means more time in the ocean, in swimming pools, and maybe even the occasional water park!

EDELMAN UP!

Footage surfaced this week of Patriots wide receiver, and arguably team leader, Julian Edelman going through some rigorous and unique offseason training. Edelman, seen in the IG video above, was working with Zac Emde, a "performance consultant at EXOS". Have to admit, never seen anyone working on agility and recognition by catching cards before. Edelman seems to be embracing both his role as #1 receiver as well as face of the underdogs, a team with plenty to prove after the departure of TB12. Not to mention, JE11, aka The Squirrel, aka Edelmania, seems to be using the time away from the facility to get into ridiculously good shape. Hopefully, his desire and effort rub off on his teammates, all of whom will need to contribute if the Patriots are to surpass lower-than-usual expectations this season.

SPEAKING OF PATS RECEIVERS...
Mohamed Sanu, who the Patriots will need a bounceback year from in 2020, is out there looking good. I'm no doctor, but he certainly appears ahead of schedule on that surgically repaired ankle rehab to me. Now, if only he can do this in a game, and on fourth down.
Mohamed Sanu seems to be rehabbing pretty well. He had off-season ankle surgery in early March. #Patriots need a big year from # 14. pic.twitter.com/sJUko8foSt

President Trump was asked Wednesday if he believed Colin Kaepernick, a lightning rod during his administration for sure, deserved a spot in the NFL this season. The answer, from an admitted football fan and former USFL franchise owner, may surprise you.

First, this wildly great take, by a friend on Pats twitter, resurfaced this week and deserves a victory lap for the bold and accurate call.
