STIDHAM ON THE MOVE
According to a story posted to the IG of his wife, Kennedy, Jarrett Stidham and family are moving from Providence, RI to...Foxborough, MA. Very interesting.
Jarrett Stidham will be moving from his beautiful Providence Rhode Island Loft into a House in Foxboro by the end of August which he will be renting. Looks like the QB1 is looking to get closer to the facility long term --

Could this be because the Stidhams believe Jarrett is a part of the team's long-term plans? Does he just want to shorten his commute this season? Is Kennedy tired of renting and wants a house of their own to decorate and work her IG influencer magic? Time will tell...but usually people don't plunk down good dollars on a home if they think their future in that area is short. Time will tell, but a potentially interesting move indeed. Hey, at least he didn't buy one in Greenwich, CT, right?
BIG FANTASY OPT-OUTStatement from GM Brett Veach“Damien Williams informed the club of his decision to opt out of the 2020 season." pic.twitter.com/dEQ2sUs9u2
— Kansas City Chiefs (@Chiefs)
July 29, 2020 Chiefs running back Damien Williams, arguably an MVP candidate from the Chiefs Super Bowl 54 win, becomes the second member of the World Champs to opt-out, following Guard Laurent Duvernay-Tardif. The Chiefs remain Super Bowl 55 favorites thanks to Patrick Mahomes, a load of returning starters, offensive talent to spare and depth at the RB position, where they selected RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire out of LSU. A pick that seems all the more important now for a team with repeat title hopes. Williams emerged from the bench to replace Kareem Hunt in 2018, and became the team's best back in 2019. A loss for sure. One thing's for sure...this clarifies from a fantasy perspective who the back to select in KC is. And truth be told you could probably rush for 780 yards and 7 TDs in that offense.
END OF AN ERA IN INDY
Pour a Sun King for Adam Vinatieri, inarguably the only player in NFL history who's the greatest kicker for two franchises, and has had two Hall of Fame worthy careers. He'll always have a special place in our sports hearts, for many obvious, clutch reasons. Might be the end of the line for him, but wow...what a run.
With regards to his kicking competition, Chris Ballard mentions it's Chase McLaughlin vs. Rodrigo Blankenship. As expected, the team moving on from Adam Vinatieri in 2020. Vinny's gilded 14-year run in Indianapolis comes to an end.

#THROWBACK THURSDAY
This deserves to be in consideration for most surreal Boston sports photo of all-time. Batman had a brutal time trying to corral all these supervillains in Gotham. But Red had no problem getting them to come together on good behavior.

July 29, 2020 BEST OF BOSTON
And finally...we're sharing this because you'll need to know where to go for a bite, or to get the right kind of takeout, beer, ice cream, treats, supplies and more for all the sports you're going to watch over the next three months or more.
Each year we like to tip our hat to our favorite parts of the city—whether that's a funny chef on Instagram, a cocktail queen with major nail game, or just the best place to watch the sunset, we think it's worth acknowledging what makes Boston special. https://t.co/RLnSPs1R3u pic.twitter.com/iq0PDMBrPd
