Socially Distanced Cinco de Mayo greetings to one and all! To help ease the sting of not being able to gather with a group of your besties for table guac, carnitas, cervezas and bottomless margies might we recommend this for your fiesta a casa? It has everything you need and feel these days.

May 4, 2020 Validating their title as the World Wide Leader in Sports, ESPN comes to the live sports rescue and begins carrying live KBO baseball today. Speaking of which...
BROADCAST HIGHLIGHT
KBO Baseball: NC Dinos vs. Samsung Lions, 3 p.m. ESPN2
NB: The game airs live at 1 a.m. EST, but since that's technically before this was published you might just have to wait until the 3 p.m. re-airing.
BOMBS AND BAT FLIPS
The KBO, which does feature some former MLB players, will be playing in front of no live fans, and with social distancing in mind (masks on players, umpires), is known on the international stage for the bat flips that follow monstrous home runs. Game play is like MLB, and the structure is similar, though the league is much smaller (10 teams compared to 30).
The KBO is the most popular sport in South Korea. They play a 144 game regular season. The Kia Tigers are the most successful franchise with 11 championships. ESPN has assembled a handy and complete Opening Day guide for news --> RIGHT HERE.
Now, back to the batflips. Which are highly discouraged and seen as disrespectful here. If we get a decent amount of this swag who knows how many stateside fans it may attract, or if there will be any carryover to MLB. Because I like it. I like it a lot.

May 4, 2020 Sorry, 2020 robbed me of my sportsmanship. We need showmanship! Or just sports. Seems there's some excitement already. There's KBO fantasy league action. Online gambling sites are posting odds. And if you have any other questions about the rules you can bone up with this ample guide. We'll need some time to pick some favorite players or consider which jersey to get. Not to mention a favorite team. Who you got? Thinking The KT Wiz Suwon, because...fun name? Whatever, play ball!
TIP: TODAY IN PATRIOTS
Curious to see that Bleacher Report published a piece yesterday, the same day we took them to task for predicting the 2020 Patriots would go 4-12, published a piece on the Patriots quiet confidence in their plan to try and win with Stidham on his rookie deal. Worth a read if you need to sate your daily positive Pats fix.
ESPN released their pre-schedule drop NFL 2020 Power Rankings, and would you believe this; they have the Pats right smack in the middle.
Also, if you missed Andy Hart's excellent breakdown of how the WEEI staff selected the ALl-Tom Brady Era team bang it HERE. Interesting breakdown, few choices I didn't make, of course every player worthy of selection.

BECAUSE YOU NEED THIS
Proudest moment of this dad's life (this kind of fills in the Little League gap in our sports hearts right now). Now, this little dude needs to start working on his KBO bat flip!
Check out this 4-year old and his father — as Little Man slaps his first-ever home-run OVER the fence. The joy! Sports. This is the Twitter content I’m here for...----⚾️❤️----pic.twitter.com/G5XC8dDQBF
