HARRIS LOSES, SOX WIN!
California Senator Kamala Harris, a former presidential candidate herself, was named Joe Biden's VP running mate in the 2020 election. And while we take no political sides or bias here, we'd like to take a moment to remember when she teamed up with fellow California Senator Dianne Feinstein to wager California foods vs Boston foods (you know, one of THOSE bets) against Ed Markey and Elizabeth Warren. And we'll guess Harris is looking for better results this November, because she lost. And Boston became Titletown USA in the process thanks to a Congressional Resolution. So we owe a note of debt to Senator Harris? Mostly to the Sox, and Boston World Series icon Dave Roberts, who managed maybe the worst playoff series ever? He'll always be a hero to us.

The Big 10 announced Tuesday that they were canceling their college football season for the fall, hoping to push it to the spring. The PAC-12 followed suit. Unsurprisingly, people from all walks of life weren't very happy with the decision. A decision that could alter the college football, college sports and pro sports landscape for years to come.
When the university presidents of the Big 10 open their campuses to ten of thousands of students in the coming weeks, they'll lose any room to say this was about the kids' safety.This is about liability. Plain and simple.
