June 2, 2020 Here for all the displays of togetherness, all over. Now...what say you? Ready to win this Humpday?
BROADCAST HIGHLIGHT
2012 Eastern Conference Finals: Celtics vs Heat - Games 6 & 7, 7 & 9:30 p.m. - ESPN
No fan likes watching the Celtics lose, but you can admire LeBron's epic Game 6 performance at the Garden, the "Let's go Celtics!" chant at game's end, and the Celtic Pride on display in the hard-fought finale in Miami for Game 7.
THE GOAK ON THE GOAT
Former Patriot, four-time Super Bowl champion and greatest kicker of all time (hence the GOAK title), Adam Vinatieri, joined OMF as the "Mystery Guest" Tuesday. In the interview Vinatieri discussed a wide range of topics, many of interest to Pats Nation. Like his familiarity with leaving the Patriots when most thought he'd return. Plus Adam's thoughts on why Brady may have taken his talents to Western Florida this offseason. Said the owner of the two greatest kicks in Patriots and NFL postseason history, “I know he was...he was wanting some weapons, and to continue to do his thing, and...I think he kinda just looked at it and said, ‘You know, if I’m gonna keep doing this I want to have the best opportunity to continue to win, and for some reason he didn’t think that was with the Patriots." An interesting reveal from a former teammate indeed! Listen to the interview in it's entirety below.
While we're here, wanna see a funny random Adam Vinatieri video? Talk about a surreal rooftop blast from the past:
Maybe the most surreal moment in Boston sports history as @adamvinatieri celebrates the @Patriots Super Bowl 36 win on Letterman kicking balls to a waiting @realDonaldTrump @RealBS101 pic.twitter.com/Z3EMKOZqjH

July 15, 2018 Also, while we're recommending segments from Tuesday on WEEI, don't miss Hour 2 of Mut at Night, where Mut made a great recommendation for overcoming educational budgetary cutbacks, then spoke with his friend, the GM at Twin Rivers Casino, Craig Sculos, about the return of live gambling in the area as part of Phase 2 recovery.
WIDE WORLD OF SUPPORT
Protests over the murder of George Floyd continued nationwide, and worldwide, Tuesday. Statements were released by
prominent athletes and
teams aplenty. amid protests bringing out milions of people. Many recognizable in the world of sports. Like
Texans QB DeShaun Watson. But none moreso than Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh. We'd recognize those khakis from anywhere.

June 2, 2020 BECAUSE YOU NEED THIS
Gotta be an opening on some special teams unit in the NFL for this guy. Talk about great hands in the clutch.

June 2, 2020 ON THIS DAY IN SPORTS
Did you know that 169 years ago today the first baseball uniforms in American sports were worn? By the NY Knickerbockers. Extra fancy, wouldn't you say? Imagine getting your favorite player's jersey, err, blazer? How do you slide into home wearing a straw hat?
