Celtics center Aron Baynes
USA Today Sports

When Aron Baynes picked up his option to stay with the Celtics for 2019-20, it was reported he did so under the impression he wasn't going to be dealt this summer.

Well, as Baynes must now know better than ever, no one is getting what they expected when it comes to the Celtics this offseason.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Celtics have offered up Baynes and his $5.4 million contract to teams via trade to make more cap space. As Woj points out in his report, moving Baynes would give the Celtics $23 million in space, with Kyrie Irving and Al Horford not signing back.
