Celtics training camp is fast-approaching and it looks like Boston has added another player to its preseason roster.
According to Adam Himmelsbach of the Boston Globe, the Celtics are going to sign Yante Maten to an Exhibit 10 deal.
Maten played in two games for the Miami Heat last season. He spent most of 2018-19 with the Sioux Falls Skyforce. Maten averaged 23.5 points, 9.6 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game for the Skyforce in the G League last year.
Maten played his college ball at Georgia. He was a two-time All-SEC selection in his four seasons with the Bulldogs.
