It looks like the San Francisco Giants have seen enough of Drew Pomeranz.
The former Red Sox left-handed starting pitcher has reportedly been traded by the Giants to the Milwaukee Brewers, according to The Athletic. San Francisco also included right-handed pitcher Ray Black in the deal that delivered them infielder Mauricio Dubon, who was also a 26th-round selection for the Red Sox in the 2013 MLB Draft.
Pomeranz made 17 starts and pitched in 21 games for the Giants this year. He posted a 5.68 ERA and a 1.61 WHIP. When starting, Pomeranz had a 6.10 ERA while opponents had a .296 average and a .905 OPS against him. An odd addition to a playoff-contending Milwaukee team.
