At Sunday's practice, Gordon Hayward said playing on Monday against the Cavaliers was a possibility. He was later ruled questionable by the team — a major step in the right direction, having previously been ruled out consistently since his hand injury.
After Monday's shootaround, Brad Stevens informed reporters Hayward went through the workout with the intention of playing against the Cavs.
Additionally, Robert Williams has been ruled out due to left hip soreness.
Marcas Smart's status is up in the air, as well. He has an eye infection.
