When the Celtics converted Max Strus’ two-way deal into an NBA contract ahead of the Celtics’ third preseason game, that did not guarantee the wing a spot on Boston’s 15-man roster.
The move opened up one of the team’s two-way deals for Tacko Fall and put Strus against Javonte Green for the final spot on the NBA roster. And now it looks like Strus may be the odd man out.
Shams Charania of The Athletic is reporting Javonte Green is “emerging as the likely winner” of the last spot on the Celtics roster.
