For the first time in almost three years, a member of the Celtics has been named Eastern Conference Player of the Week. Isaiah Thomas received the honor last in February of the 2016-17 season.
Jaylen Brown was given the honor for his efforts during Christmas week, the 10th week of 2019-20. It's the first time he's received the honor in his career.

Brown also set a new career-high in points with 34 against the Cavs on Friday.
