For the third consecutive game, Jayson Tatum will not be active for Team USA.
The Celtics wing was ruled out before Monday morning’s second-round matchup against Brazil. Tatum sprained his ankle in the U.S.’s 93-92 overtime win over Turkey on Tuesday and has been sidelined since.
Also, Kemba Walker missed shootaround but is still expected to play.

September 9, 2019 There’s a good chance Gregg Popovich is waiting until Tatum is 100%, given FIBA games don’t come close to outweighing the NBA season. Though, barring some odd setback, or Team USA getting eliminated prematurely, Tatum should be back at some point.
