The Boston Celtics officially made star guard Kemba Walker a member of the organization on Saturday with the NBA's Free Agency Moratorium coming to a close at noon. Walker came to the Celtics via a sign-and-trade with the Hornets, which sent Terry Rozier to Charlotte.
Adam Himmelsbach of the Boston Globe is also reporting the C's received a pair of 2020 second-round picks in the deal, one belonging to the Knicks, the other the Nets.
Additionally, and this is the biggest bit of news of all: Walker will wear No. 8. Hopefully, no one threw out their Antoine Walker jerseys.
