Comparing basketball players from different eras is fun, but it's tough. The game has changed so much in this young century, never mind looking back to when Red Auerbach coached.
Big men don't hang in the low post as much now. Three-pointers continue to become more and more important. The list goes on.
That being said, it's not hard to tell which players could have a big impact in any era. Michael Jordan and LeBron James are the first to come to mind. Another is, of course, Celtics legend Larry Bird.
Apparently, James feels similarly about Bird.
The Lakers forward went so far as to write on Twitter, Bird had "zero flaws in his game," when responding to a video highlighting some of Bird's most impressive passes.
