Marcus Smart advises younger Americans on COVID-19 precautions

The Celtics are still awaiting further results for individuals who tested positive for COVID-19, but the team has at least one player who tested positive for the illness: Marcus Smart. When he revealed on Thursday that he had tested positive for COVID-19, the Celtics guard said he felt fine.

And Smart’s health maintained into Friday, based on what he said during his appearance on CNN’s “Cuomo Prime Time.”

“I feel great. I feel fine,” Smart said. “Feel like I can go play a game right now.”

Smart expressed he remains asymptomatic. He isn’t concerned about the possibility of developing something worse, and Smart expressed the doctors he’s been in communication with feel the same way.

Still, Smart made it a point to encourage self-isolation and quarantine.
