The Celtics are going to need quite a bit of help from the bench on Monday.
Although Boston still has plenty of offensive firepower to beat the last-place Hawks, they are running thin with Marcus Smart sidelined. He is out with a right thigh contusion.
In addition to Smart, Kemba Walker (left knee soreness) is out.
As a result of the injuries at the guard position, Tremont Waters is in Atlanta with the Celtics.
Enes Kanter is available to make his return. He has been dealing with a right hip contusion.
Robert Williams (left hip bone edema) remains sidelined for Monday’s game, as well. But he’s been able to ramp things up and is set to meet with a specialist this week.
