Carsen Edwards shot the lights out from three (46.7 percent) and averaged 19.4 points per game in the Celtics’ five Summer League games. He also had a steal per game. But that wasn’t enough for the second-round pick to receive 2019 NBA Summer League First or Second Team recognition.

The NBA announced the 10 honorees on Monday. New Orleans’ Nickeil Alexander-Walker (24.3 points, six assists and 2.8 steals per game) and Miami’s Kendrick Nunn (21 points, 6.3 assists five rebounds and 1.5 steals per game) were the two NBA Summer League First Team guards.
