The NBA still believes a champion will be crowned in 2020. Even with the CDC’s March 15 advisement against all events that consist of 50 people or more for the next eight weeks in the United States, NBA commissioner Adam Silver has yet to officially extend the league’s 30-day hiatus.
Whatever the NHL decides on, they don’t expect it to impact 2020-21.
MLB couldn’t even get through spring training because of the novel coronavirus outbreak, but the thought of canceling the season entirely still seems a bit extreme.
BetOnline.ag released odds on when both leagues will get back to action, and the sports betting site thinks they’ll both have games before the summer ends. But, BetOnline doesn’t think that will be before July 1.
