While mourning over what appears to be the end of his fantasy football season, O.J. Simpson reflected on the Patriots releasing Antonio Brown.
In particular, Simpson mentioned how he considered contacting Brown as more allegations were thrown his way. He feels could have offered the ex-Patriots receiver some advice that would’ve been useful.
“I guess you can say you saw it coming,” Simpson said about the release. “You know, I almost texted Antonio a week. I wanted to give him a little bit of advice that some of the greatest legal minds in America gave me. They told me that when you’re in a civil or criminal litigation and you’re the person they’re coming after, the best thing you can do is say nothing, be quiet. Essentially, shut up. And if his lawyer didn’t give him that advice, he should sue that lawyer. Evidently he didn’t.
I’m just saying.
