Although he's being held out of Wednesday's game in Toronto, Marcus Smart returned to practice for the Celtics in the days leading up to Christmas. He's been battling an eye infection for most of December. It started in his left eye and spread to both.
The doctors Smart saw throughout the process said it was as bad as any eye infection they've ever seen.
